Questa semplice cache cittadina si trova in piazza Salvatore Pugliatti, a Messina

Nei dintorni di questa cache si possono ammirare
- la sede centrale dell’università di Messina [wiki], fondata nel 1548 da Ignazio di Loyola come primo collegio della Compagnia di Gesù. I prospetti delle tre palazzine rivelano caratteri neoclassici con decorazioni floreali; accanto ai padiglioni che - sotto il livello stradale - si affacciano sulla via Giacomo Venezian (lato nord dell’isolato) è murato il bel portale dell'antico collegio dei Gesuiti.
- palazzo Piacentini, sede del tribunale di Messina [wiki]. Fu edificato sull’area del Grande Ospedale, distrutto nel terremoto del 1908, su progetto dell’architetto Piacentini. I lavori cominciarono nel 1912 ma furono sospesi per l’inizio della prima guerra mondiale. Nel 1923 i lavori ripresero, Piacentini rivide il progetto, che mantenne invariata la parte strutturale, riformulò la veste architettonica, che passò dalla maniera neorinascimentale alla rivisitazione di modelli neoclassici tedeschi adottando l’ordine dorico ispirandosi alla Porta di Brandeburgo e all'architettura dei templi dorici siciliani. Sull'attico dell'edificio è posta una grande quadriga condotta dalla dea Minerva.

Near this cache you can see:
- the headquarters of the University of Messina [wiki], founded in 1548 by Ignatius of Loyola as the first college of the Society of Jesus. The façades of the three buildings reveal a neoclassical style decorated with flowers; next to the buildings facing via Giacomo Venezian (north side of the block) - below street level – lies the beautiful portal of the ancient Jesuit college.
- palazzo Piacentini (Piacentini palace), the seat of the court of Messina [wiki ITA]. It was built on the site of the Great Hospital, which was destroyed in the earthquake of 1908, designed by the architect Piacentini. Works began in 1912 but were suspended during the World War I. In 1923, works resumed, Piacentini changed the project, maintaining unchanged the structural part and reformulating the architectural look, which changed from a renaissance revival to German neoclassical models, adopting the doric style inspired by the Brandenburg Gate and the architecture of the doric temples in Sicily. On top of the building there is a large quadriga driven by the goddess Minerva.
