Received this TB in the mail as part of the awareness campaign. My family has been dealing with the effects of diabetes for many years. My grandfather lost both legs to diabetes. My mother & her siblings also have this disease. I had gestational diabetes (only during pregnancy)with both my children, my first child being born premature & over 8lbs because of it. I was not tested for the 1st child but was tested for the 2nd. So far it has not developed into full blown adult diabetes. I have to be careful, I know it's only a matter of time so I do test yearly as a precaution.
