saw this diabetes tb and wanted to pick it up due to the fact that i have a member of the family that is now part of this group of diabetics, my cat mac. which is really strange that cats can get this but you learn something everyday. thankfully after a month of testing twice a day, the right food, and insulin, he is now off the insulin. and i'll pass on a word of advice to all you cat owners out there, cats are STRICKLY CARNIVOURS. they cant process carbs and if you only feed your cat dry food, make sure that the first thing listed of the contents of the food is meat of some kind. otherwise you and your cat will end up at the vet with a $1000 bill! just some food for thought......will be moving this tb down south to orange co. this weekend.
