I took T.B. First one. going to place it near US Airport for better access to travelers. No one goes to Russia from here.

One of zillions of bugs and coins I saw today. I know the woes of going cache-free for too long, here's hoping this one moves along...

Snagged this from Tweetybird at the MAGC event in Baghdad today. It's been out of service for awhile, so gonna get it a jump start on it's mission and take it north to a friend in the USAF who can get it closer to Russia. Great coin for a great cause.

Alas, unfortunately, I must apologize for NOT handling this TB quickly enough, as I picked it up in 2007 before I was deployed to Balad Airbase (Anaconda), but due to MANY personal strifes I did very little caching while there. It returned to CA with me to my home area, and again I did very little to ZERO caching.

10 months in CA, and now I'm back to Iraq, on an IA billet, and lo and behold there's a MAGC event cache that I'm heading off to today. This guy is getting dropped into the event pool to hopefully make it's way back to Russia as planned.

To the owner, please forgive me in keeping your little guy for so long, as it was NEVER really my intent to do such. He HAS been kept safely and lovingly however, in the time he has been with me.

    Sincerely,

    Tweetybird440

Well, so I never released this one while in CA before leaving for deployment, but maybe that's not such a "bad" thing after all. I'm currently somewhere in Iraq, which IS much closer to Russia than CA ever thought about being!! Will re-release in to the "wild" as my work schedule permits me to find some caches here in my "down time."
