Picked up this travel bug at Texas Travel Bug University, Part Deux (GCY2R9), athough it does not show up as being dropped there. I hope to show it a good time around town at some of my favorite places before dropping it off.

To commemorate this TB's starting place, added a Texas heart to the chain. Left this TB in GCY2R9 in Austin, Texas. Best wishes for its travels and it mission.

This is one of 20,000 Unite for Diabetes Travel Bugs traveling from Geocache to Geocache on a very specific mission. We received it by requesting one via http://unite.geocaching.com/signup/. We logged on and discovered it has two goals: to raise awareness of diabetes and to reach Middleborough, Massachusetts. We created a information sheet to accompany it on its travels letting folks know its name and goals, as well as a bit about the online petition in support of a United Nations Resolution on diabetes (http://www.unitefordiabetes.org/). We intend to place this Travel Bug shortly and look forward to watching its travels.
