I'm almost the only person in my (athletic) family without diabetes, so I eat very carefully. This travelbug wants to go to California, so I'll try to drop it off near the airport, I think there's a "travelbug hotel" near there.

Picked it up...I thought I'd leave a picture and quick blurb about how diabetes has affected my life. My Uncle and my Grandmother both have diabetes. However my Uncle has type 1 and my Grandmother type 2. This has allowed me to see the differences between the two. I have seen both of them in very hard times in relation to adverse effects from the disease. I'll be passing this one on in Raleigh so it will hopefully make its way towards California.
