We were happy to find this travel bug as we have our own story. Our son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 2 1/2 years ago when he was 8. Diabetes is not an easy thing to live with day to day. We are thankful for insulin and for the technology we have that helps monitor blood sugars, and we are looking forward to the better technology or cure that is coming. We are pro-life and so not in favor of embryonic stem cell research that seems to have so much emphasis in the research community. Aside from that we are in favor of uniting to educate, treat, and hopefully cure this debilitating disease.
