The first cache I've found here in southern Brazil and my first Travel Bug - thanks MountainDweller!!
This TB was in a cache atop one of the highest points of the city of Porto Alegre with a fantastic view over the city and the Guaiba river which passes alongside. There are those who dispute that it's a river claiming that it is really a lake, however as there are 5 rivers entering at one end and all the water (plus a little accumulated sewage) exits from the other into South America's longest lake, Lagoa dos Patos, at the other.... seems like a river to me. The only thing to say though is that to reach this high point it's necessary to pass through a rather typical brazilian favela which, although not automatically dangerous, is potentially more so than other parts of any city.... ie. don't go there at night!!

Travel Bug found, now I have to find a way of passing it on. I have some ideas but will see which one pans out better.
