Our second UFD Travel Bug to come across. Will move it this week.

My Father-in-law lived to be 69. He had childhood onset Diabetes at the age of 3. He was one of the early folks they experimented on with the pig insulin.

At 67, following a multitude of health complications related to Diabetes he underwent a quad bypass so he would be able to walk his daughter (my bride) down the isle for our wedding. He did. The surgery gave him another 2 ½ years. He died in October of 1996.
