Sorry this one has disappeared off the map for so long! I've moved about 6 times since I found this travel bug and it got lost in the confusion. The good news is I have it hand and am dropping off at a cache this week! Where? Guess you'll have to wait and see.

My girlfriend who is a type 1 diabetic wanted to log this travel bug through our friends cache so she dropped it off and I picked it up. I'm heading on a trip this upcoming week and hoping to put another 100 miles or so on this travel bug. Wish I could put it at over 1000!

I have been a Type 1 diabetic since I was 2 years and 8 months old, and I am 17 years and 8 months. 15 years of my history have been quite an interesting time of my life. I've never really had any problems, and have only been hospitalized 2 or 3 times. Just recently my boyfriend and some friends of ours got me into geocaching. Last night he told me about the diabetes travel bug. He came and got me at 7:30 this morning and we set off for the travel bug. We decided to take my dog and that was quite an interesting experience.
