Both my boys acquired Type 1 Diabetes in 2010, one in January and one in March, so we've become quite aware of the issue in youth (one is 13, one is 17). I'm so amazed and thankful for advances and technology available to manage this disease, and fully support the science and education efforts to resolve it.
