I am the first owner of this special TravelBug. I want to be a part of the Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug because my father is a diabetic for over 25 years. This TB is not only for Bamberg, Germany, but also for him. Every year he walks along the doors in his town called Alkmaar (Netherlands) to raise some money for the Dutch Diabetic Association. This is my way to raise some awareness for this illness. Give money when asked to do research, there is so much to discover about this illness.
