Picked up the Diabetes TB because it runs in my family. Dxed with Type 2 in May 2003, and have it under control. Diet is so very important as well as exercise and meds. Hope this helps with Diabetes Awareness.

Both my Mother and my Uncle have type 2 diabetes. When I heard about these travel bugs and the Unite for Diabetes campaign I had to request a travel bug. I'm glad that I was able to get one of these travel bugs to release!
