Found this TB after sweaty hike up Indian Head (NH). I already took another TB, but when I saw what this one is about, I had to take it too. To move it on.
I am in the Diabetic "Industry". My seacoast NH company manufactures the disposible end (Tube set/Head set) of Insulin Pumps, which are produced and sold by our Swiss parent company.
Sadly, it was announced last week that out facility is being closed in 2-3 yrs. If there are any Venture Capitalists reading this looking for worthy cleanroom molding and assembly projects to invest in, contact me.
To the owners of this TB, Please do not read this as an illicit method to get attention to a company in trouble.
Diabetes is an epidemic that doesn't get the press time it should. And a local company that is important in the quality of life of Diabetics is being closed. We want to stay open to continue to produce somthing that helps people. Please note that the supply of TS/HS that fit the pumps will not be interrupted, they will just be manufactured overseas.
As a side note, we spent about 4 hours at Lower Falls on the Kanc Highway. I noticed 3 people with sets obviously attached, and about 4 others i suspect had sets attached.
They were riding down the rock slides and waterfalls and pools...
I will pass on this TB with pride.
