    I dropped off ‘Rangoon, Myanmar’ Unite for Diabetes TB in Smiley Balls 2, one of the closes caches to me (0.5 miles). I will be following its journey to Rangoon, Myanmar and looking at how many miles it covers. I added a pair of shoes to it to draw attention to the fact that diabetics have to take extra care of their feet and consider carefully what shoes they wear.

    I am happy to release this unite for diabetes travel bug. I do it in memory of my grandfather who suffered partial blindness due to cataracts a common diabetes related complication. Also on behalf of my husbands family, where both sets of grandparents, both parents and all his aunts and uncles have the disease at varying degrees of severity.
    Of course, on behalf of the people of Rangoon Myanmar as well.
