Cache is hidden near to a well known Central otago landmark
The cache is a brown snaplock container hidden near a well known land formation. When hidden the cache contained - Logbook and pencil, Knuckle bones, toy mouse, mouse trap, Playing cards, Carabina, Bouncy ball.
This landmark can be seen easily from Alexandra on a clear day. If mountain biking be prepared for a killer climb and cold alpine conditions.Take extra food and water, warm clothes and a windbreaker
The 4wd track is accessed from Symes Road near Fruitlands. take time to look at Mitchells cottage (a good place to leave car if mountain biking) and do "Mitchells mathematical challenge" on the way past.
This Cache is closed through the winter months due to snow and is also closed from 15th October to 15th November due to lambing
Take a camera, these are some of the best views in Otago
