Geocache Description:

This NIGHT ONLY multi is not to be taken lightly. It has been tested thoroughly and can be done in 3 hours (GZ1 to GZ6) but requires planning and careful execution.

Anti-terrorism operative John Carter was last seen at position GZ1 S36 35.242 E145 57.604(see photo 1) His mission was to gain vital information about the planned bombing of local infrastructure. Your task is to complete his mission without alerting any civilians or terrorists, thereby enabling further monitoring and the possible capture of the entire cell.
You will require a 2WD vehicle with a range in excess of 55 km, a medium power torch with 3+ hour run time and an accurate timepiece. This mission will test your driving, mathematical, navigational, analytical, surveillance and covert operational skills. Mission run-time is approximately 3.5 hours. For additional security a backup torch and 2 or more personnel are recommended. Also recommended are suitable maps, short-duration hiking gear and suitable warm clothing.
Due to the presence of daylight patrols (see photo 2) your mission can only be completed under the cover of night.
YOU ARE UNDER STRICT ORDERS TO ABORT YOUR MISSION IF COMPROMISED BY CIVILIAN OR TERRORIST ACTIVITY AT ANY POINT.

Operative Carter left several clues to his aborted mission but some are known to be decoys. Start your mission at the last sighting co-ordinates GZ1.
Begin observation at the 7th post from the south. Use your torch to identify the reflective clearance code in the bush:
Blue 2 GZ2 = S36 38.598 E145 43.633
Orange 2 GZ2 = S36 35.241 E145 55.440
Red 2 GZ2 = S36 36.175 E145 56.337
White 2 GZ2 = S36 35.834 E145 56.044

Proceed to GZ2. Dangers include wallabies and large mobs of kangaroos on the roads. Seasonal road closures should not interfere with your mission. At GZ2 proceed with extreme caution. You must abort if GZ2 is not clear. Park your vehicle more than 20m from GZ2. Access is legal. Find ground marker to confirm location. Locate sign. Locate reflective code in the bush from ground marker.
No Shooting xxx = -202
No Four Wheel Drives xxx = 080
No Magnums xxx = 191
No Entry xxx = -201
Red 3 yyy = 135
Orange 2 yyy = - 809
Blue 3 yyy = 275
White 4 yyy = - 082
GZ3 = GZ2 + S00 00.xxx + E000 00.yyy

Proceed to GZ3. At GZ3 you must view the terrorist threat level indicator and confirm your approach to target.
08 per min. GZ4 = GZ3 + S00 15.497 – E000 14.098
30 per min. GZ4 = GZ3 + S00 10.279 – E000 19.362
48 per min. GZ4 = GZ3 – S00 10.012 + E000 58.310
60 per min. high alert status = abort mission

Commence transport stage to GZ4. At GZ4 commence torch surveillance operation from north-west corner of observation post and await clearance code from northern contact. At GZ4 also locate a small magnetic cache containing further information critical to your mission.
Blue 3 GZ5 = GZ4 + S00 08.567 + E000 02.793
Orange 2 GZ5 = GZ4 + S00 00.058 + E000 00.794
Red 1 GZ5 = GZ4 + S00 03.170 + E000 02.936
White 4 GZ5 = GZ4 + S00 00.063 + E000 00.350

Park 940m from GZ5 at point MHCS. Access compound over, through or under any obstacle. Access is legal. Keep to formed track until 70m from GZ and remain alert for civilian activity and guard dogs to the west. GZ5 cache is approximately 115 x 80 x 40mm. Approach with maximum caution and remain between safety rails. Inside GZ5 activate pulsed beacons and observe colour codes. Disconnect before leaving site.
RF 1012.0 Red, Red, Yellow GZ6 = GZ5 - S00 00.117 + E000 00.025
RF 1008.0 Orange, Yellow, Yellow GZ6 = GZ5 - S00 00.205 + E000 00.006
RF 1007.5 White, Yellow, Red GZ6 = GZ5 – S00 00.155 - E000 00.008
RF 1006.5 Green, Blue, Blue GZ6 = GZ5 – S00 00.054 + E000 00.001
RF 1004.0 Red, Orange, Yellow GZ6 = GZ5 – S00 00.114 – E000 00.008
RF 1002.5 Yellow, White, White GZ6 = GZ5 – S00 00.067 + E000 00.003

At the GZ6 cache log your colour codes and the corresponding RF(radio frequency) wavelength. This will enable another agent to perform remote trigger jamming, and thereby foil the bombing.
Original GZ6 contents include logbook, pen, lighting and glowing apparatus for trade, Mischievous Monkey TB and Canadian Geocoin.
