The northernmost cache at the European mainland!
The maintenance of this cache is kindly supported by the norwegian geocachers Ragnhild&BjWiggo.
The cache is located near the Kinnarodden cliff at the northern tip of the Nordkinn peninsula.
Surrounded by nothing but stones and with a view to the waters of Barents Sea this is a place where you can experience the poor beauty of lonesome nature.
The best place to start your search is the airport at Mehamn, where you can park your car. It will take you at least two days of walking on fields of stones and boulders to get to the cache and two more days to return. You also have to cross some streams. So we dissuade from going for this cache, if you don't have any experiences in trekking on pathless terrain. Since the direct way between Mehamn and the cache is not a good choose, we also recommend to study some reports of people, who have already been there. You can also contact us by email to get more information and tips for a possible route.
