Hey, das ist kein Rätsel-Cache!!! ;)   Hey, this is not a Mystery-Cache!!! ;)
Stahl und Beton ragen kilometerweit sichtbar aus dem Wald in Prora. Tausende Fenster, unendliche Gänge... Das längste Gebäude Deutschlands zieht sich wie eine Linie zwischen den Kiefern den Ostseestrand entlang.   Steel and concrete, visible for miles, are jutting out of the forest of Prora. Thousands of windows, endless corridors... Germany’s longest building runs like a line through the pines alongside the beach.
 
So begann das Listing zu Rügens erstem Megaevent im Jahr 2013. This is how the listing of Rügen's first mega-event in 2013 commenced.
 
Seit diesen Tagen sind nun schon ein paar Jahre vergangen, die einleitenden Sätze stimmen aber noch immer, auch wenn sich viel verändert hat. Es wurde viel gebaut, abgerissen und saniert. Viele von Euch werden bei Ihrem nächsten Besuch mit geteilten Meinungen durch Prora spazieren. Since these days a few years have passed, but these opening words are still true, even though a lot has changed. Many of the main buildings have been completely renovated. New buildings were erected and some were torn down. Many of you will be in two minds while strolling through Prora.
 
Genau wie Prora sich verändert hat, werdet ihr dieses Jahr auch ein anderes Event auf Rügen erleben. In the same way as Prora has changed, you will experience a different kind of event this year in Prora.
 
Es wird sportlich zwischen Wald und Strand! An diesem Wochenende dürft Ihr zeigen, dass Ihr nicht nur Koordinaten punktgenau treffen könnt. We will get sporty between the forest and the beach! This weekend you can show everyone that your pinpoint accuracy is not limited to coordinates.
 
Es findet der 1. Rügener Kubb Cup statt! The 1. Rügener Kubb Cup will take place!


Vom 01.-03.09.2017 laden wir alle Dosensucher auf das Gelände der Jugendherberge ein.   From 1st to 3rd September 2017 we invite all geocachers to the site of the Prora youth hostel.
 
Wir freuen uns auf ein gemütliches Miteinander, ein lustiges Turnier und auf EUCH!   We are looking forward to a cosy get-together, a funny tournament and of course: To seeing YOU!

Dies ist selbstverständlich nur ein kurzer Umriss des Eventwochenendes. Wir haben noch einige Überraschungen für euch vorbereitet, die wir jetzt natürlich noch nicht verraten möchten.   Of course this is only a sketch of the event weekend. There is much more waiting for you. However, we do not want to give too much away at this point.


Die Preise für Eventteilnahme, Coin, T-Shirt, etc. sowie die Kosten für Unterbringung und Verpflegung in der Jugendherberge, findet ihr auf der Event-Website: www.prora-2017.de

Natürlich besteht auch die Möglichkeit kostenlos am Event teilzunehmen. Hierfür wird ein separates Logbuch ausliegen. Eine Teilnahme an z.B. dem Kubb-Tunier, Workshops, dem Abendprogramm usw. ist dann allerdings nicht möglich.		   Information on costs for attendance, coins, shirts, etc. as well as costs for accommodation and food in the hostel, are available at the official event website: www.prora-2017.de

Of course there will be a possibility to visit the event for free. A separate logbook will be available for everyone. However, in this case you will not be able to partake in the Kubb tournament, workshops, games, evening program etc.


Achtung   Attention
 
Wir weisen euch an dieser Stelle noch einmal ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass das Betreten der Ruinen, sowohl innerhalb, als auch außerhalb des Eventgeländes, LEBENSGEFÄHRLICH und zu jeder Zeit VERBOTEN ist!   Please note: The ruins are dilapidated buildings. The entry of the ruines is PERILOUS and FORBIDDEN at all times, both inside and outside of the event site.

Dort ist es auch möglich, einen Zeltplatz zu buchen, bzw. eine Buchungsanfrage für einen Platz in der Jugendherberge zu stellen. There, you can also register for the Kubb tournament and book a camping site or make a booking request for the hostel at the website.
