He would have been 93 years old today so this cache has been placed in memory of him.
I have chosen the location as it is directly under the glide path of RAF Alconbury, which had one of the longest runways in the world. I am sure he would love it here and indeed probably spent time here plane spotting!
The cache itself is a small clip and lock box with various bits and bobs in it. Including, at time of placing, a Lancaster travel bug that I have had for far too long.
I have marked this a child friendly, but it is near a road so please be careful with geo-tots.
