Welcome to Leuven, the beer capital of the world! Leuven has been associated with brewing and drinking beer for centuries. With more than 600 bars, it would be absolutely impossible to die of thirst here. Take a stroll along some of the well-known bars and taste Leuven's beer culture. But try to keep sober enough to find the final location!
Some practical info:
- The cartridge can be downloaded at wherigo.com

- The final is located in a muggle-heavy area. Please use your best stealth techniques to grab and replace the cache.
- The game saves automatically at all the stages. No need to manually save your progress.
- Are you still feeling uncomfortable with playing a Wherigo? This cartridge gives the opportunity to practice at the start with a little Wherigo demo.
- This game guides you through narrow streets, under passages and along high buildings. Due to poor reception this could result in low accuracy. Do not rely too much on the arrow of your compass but rather use the photo hints of the zones. Once you enter a zone, always go closer to what the photo shows you.
- Still having troubles navigating in the city? Make sure your player points to the zone center defined by the cartridge.
- The tour is in a pedestrian area but some limited and mainly bus traffic is allowed. Do take care when crossing the streets!
Welkom in Leuven, de wereldhoofdstad van het bier! Wie Leuven zegt, denkt automatisch aan bier. De biercultuur is immers alomtegenwoordig in de stad. Ga mee op bierontdekkingstocht maar probeer voldoende nuchter te blijven om de eindlocatie te vinden!
Praktische informatie:
- De cartridge kan je downloaden op wherigo.com
- BYOP: de cache is te klein om schrijfgerief in te stoppen dus dat breng je zelf mee.
- De cache ligt in het drukke stadscentrum. Gebruik dus je beste technieken om de cache ongemerkt op te pikken en terug te plaatsen.
- Het spel bewaart automatisch op alle belangrijke plaatsen. Het is dus niet nodig manueel tussendoor te bewaren.
- Ben je nog geen held in het spelen van een Wherigo? Dit spel laat je bij de start de keuze om even te oefenen met een kleine Wherigo demo.
- Het traject verloopt door nauwe straten, onder doorgangen en langs hoge gebouwen. De lage ontvangst kan tot sterke afwijking leiden. Laat je dus niet te veel (mis)leiden door de peil van je kompas maar gebruik eerder de foto's van de zones. Eens je in een zone bent, is het best even door te lopen tot wat je op de foto ziet.
- Nog altijd problemen met zones in de stad? Zorg ervoor dat je player je wijst naar het centrum van de zones.
- De rondleiding verloopt voornamelijk in een voetgangerszone waar echter ook beperkt en vooral busverkeer toegelaten is. Pas dus goed op bij het oversteken van straten!
