Field puzzle

In 1964 there was an American NBC show called Flipper, that entralled children with the antics of an aquatic lassie.

There has been a number of famous aquatic encounters in NZ, from Opo the dolphin in Opononi, Moko in the East Coast, and Pelorus Jack escorting ships in the Cook Strait.

This puzzle has nothing to do with dolpins, but the cache construction is modelled on one dubbed the flipper, hence the (dubious) connection.

The cache is at S41 06.337 E174 52.578

A BIG thanks to Kjwx for the cache.
