Otis Redding sang, "sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tide roll away." You're in for a treat when you find this location, for it has the tides, the world famous Golden Gate Bridge, the Rock (Alcatraz) and mist from the bay.
This is one of Geocaching's most visited sites!!! And hey, congratulations to all the visitors, this cache has almost 2000 logged visits, one of the most venerable caches of all time anywhere!!! Way to go SF.
Please replace the cache carefully and keep it well hidden. There are those pesky muggles all the time so be stealthy. It's a smallish container so bring small stuff. Beware, it's tricky to find, but enjoy the hunt, it's a lot like looking for Easter eggs!
Come visit one of San Francisco's busiest Geocaching spots. And if you can, post some pictures, they're fun to see. This is a great cache if you're biking or just a place to chill out. My appreciation to the folks who help maintain and keep this cache going and keeping it as accessible as long as it has. What a great sense of community.
