Geocache Description:

A fun Night Multi Cache in Wantirna

A few quick words of warning. This is a quiet rural area, the residents like their peace and quiet. Please respect them and their horses. Don't wave torches at houses or over paddocks and Keep noise to a minimum. Don't enter any paddocks or gated areas. Please hunt quitely and remember people live here, they may well be trying to sleep. I've recently replaced 50% of the reflectors as they had been removed by disgruntled Muggles, read logs below for further info.
The cache is here to highlight the Yhsub Crap UFO DockPad facility. Some of the Aliens also known as horses remain in theses Dock Pads overnight and thus for this reason, I will ask you not to enter the fenced off and or gated areas, there really is no need. Please also avoid flashing your torches around in the DockPads as this may spook the Aliens, and you don't want to be dealing with an unhappy spooked Alien or its Muggle owner.

The Dock Pads that are scattered around the area, and you will require the included HeatMap to assist in finding the associated WP's. Limited instructions below (incase)

This map shows red information for UFO Docking Pad and orange information for this cache
"GC3FE5Z " and orange information for this cache

Entering Paddocks, Opening Gates etc. is forbidden unless you are an Alien and hold a current UFO Id Card.. Permits are required and Aliens and Horses alike get easily spooked by muggles (this is the term they use for us).

NB:
You do not need to cross any fences or go through any gates at all. No reflectors are in the fenced DockPads. NB: U|You may need to move around a little due to vegetation etc.

There is ample off street parking at the parking coords for 3-4 cars, This spot is closer to GZ. Parking away from residents should also reduce unwanted attention attention. An undulating 2km walk on a quiet road is required to complete this cache. Driving between WP's is discouraged due to limited parking on the verge of the rural narrow road.

At each waypoint (as indicated on heatmap) you will soon find a reflector. They are well above head height and there is no need to climb the trees to reach them, it is the plate down low (Knee to waist height) that you seek. Punched into this plate is a number (or numbers) which you ultimately need to enter into the formula below. I've generally hidden these plates on the back side of the trees to avoid accidental discovery.
The reflectors respond well to a torch and even better if said torch has a fully tummy (aka fresh batteries) and is turned on.. You will also discover that these torch thingy's work much much better if held at or close to eye level rather than down at a more comfortable waist level. (test it, you can thank me later).. :)

The Formula:
Southing = 37.52. (261-C-N)
Easting = 145.12. (181+B+D+E)

NB: * is multiply

The Cache is a small bright green, translucent clip lock container which includes a mini rubicks cube, and a few other small swaps, logbook and small pencil, Larger tb's and swaps wont fit, Thanks to Top tHat for the moral support (he's not scared of Aliens) and to Tigersden for the cache container, and swag, which was prize at the Pre Easter Event. Please ensure the cache is returned down low in its position to avoid accidental discovery

Under the lid is a letter and a number (Eg. K=4) Take note of this, it'll be useful in the not too distant future..

*FTF* Nightcaching Pathtag was won by Trail Running and LemmyKC
Feedback on cache status / reflector / plate damage etc would be much appreciated.
I've included these instructions for those unprepared cachers who don't have access to the heatmap. The start coords are for the Main Gate, there is no need and infact its forbidden to enter the main gated area. If your looking at the gate you've made a bad start.. (turn around) You are at DockPad "C", go find it.. :).. DockPad "B" is the next logical port of call, it's also a little trickier, there is no signage, however its located on the next bend that you will discover and can be seen from the chevron / gate to your left. The reflector for DockPad "N" is quite a bit further away, Don't go right upto the "N" sign, The reflector is visible from the road thus avoiding shining your torch over too much of the Horse Paddock, please ensure there are no UFO's coming in to land, and that there are no spook prone horses in your line of fire, the Reflector is outside the DockPad and access is available on the side of a road.

Next on the agenda is DockPad "D" It can be found by following the signage or refering to the driections board or heatmap.

All that is left now is "E" Enjoy..
