The cache is located near to Meg Hut. The hut was built in the 1860s to be used as a musterers hut for the Pisa Station farm. Over time it has been expanded and improved and is now managed by DOC. It is located just inside the Pisa Conservation Area.
It can be reached by various tracks:
Cromwell - via Cromwell / Cardrona Pack Track
Cardrona - via Cromwell / Cardrona Pack Track
Roaring Meg - via Roaring Meg / Cardrona Pack Track
Crown Saddle to Tuhoys Saddle Track
The hut has 8 bunks, open fire and a toilet.
The cache is a 2L container and when hidden contained all the usual stuff.
