Pendeli Woodpecker Mystery Cache
r10n: Owing to a lack of visitors the woodpecker was suffering from loneliness. So he has decided to move on to a new location. Very sad to see him go but I can totally understand.

Go to the given location at exactly 10am any Saturday or Sunday. For 2 minutes, at these times, a woodpecker will show you the way to the cache.
Unfortunatly the woodpecker is late by an additional 3 minutes 40 seconds every month. I've told him he needs to be punctual but he just cant help himself. When the cache was original placed, 1st October 2010, he was there at 10:00am. 6 months later, 1st April 2011, he was there at 10:22am.
Please take his tardyness into consideration when visiting. And please log the time he arrived so we can all check he is behaving himself.
When I was growing up I loved 'The Hobbit' by J.R.R.Tolkien. In that story there is a secret door that could only be found and unlocked at a specific time on a specific day. A thrush was there to help show Bilbo the way. My 'Pendeli Woodpecker Puzzle Cache' pays homage to that great work.
If you are lucky enough to see the woodpecker please don't try to capture it or even move it. There's nothing so sad as a caged bird.
