If you are coming and staying in a tent and the weather looks to be not good tent weather we WILL find a place for you in our house. It may be crowded, but you are more than welcome to camp out under our roof :). No need for anyone to be wet and/or cold! Well behaved pets are welcome, too :)
We had so much fun the first time that we're doing it again!! After a little break Caching, camping and chilling at the Croc is back for a second event! The little break was due to the birth of our newest cacher in the family last year on July 25, but this year we're back in action and have started hiding caches already!

Welcome back to the Croc! Looking forward to another weekend event with old friends and new on the shores of the lake here in Stråtjära! This will be a 2 day event, with a relaxing meet and greet on Friday night complete with grilling, and the main caching event on Saturday with a relaxing evening around the campfire on Saturday night. The campground is on the lake in an area that has a number of established caches, and there will once more be a number of new caches provided on Saturday with a contest and prizes handed out that evening when everyone is done for the day!
The location has a tent camping area as well as a camper area, but there are not water or electricity hookups if you are coming in a camper. We also welcome anyone who wants to camp at our house. We have a large back yard for tents and if someone wants to park a trailer at our place and use our electricity and water they are welcome to, just let us know! There is a bed and breakfast located less than 2 km from the event, an ICA Nära, close by, and pizza restaurant located approximately 15 minutes away.

Efter ett års uppehåll så är det nu dags för ett nytt Croc-event igen. Vi börjar på fredag den 30 juli med lite snack, mingel och grillning nere vid badstranden, vi kommer vara på plats fr.o.m. klockan 17.00. På lördagen blir det så dags för själva cachandet, vi börjar dagen klockan 09.00. Vi kommer lägga ut ett 15-tal cacher i området samt även kanske bjuda på en liten specialcache. De kommer finnas tillgängliga först för de som kommer på eventet så är man FTF-jägare så har man det förspännt.
Vi avslutar lördagen genom att åter igen samlas för lite eftersnack och grillning runt klockan 17.00. Platsen ligger vid en sjö och det finns möjlighet att slå upp tält samt att parkera husvang/husbil i närheten. Vår tomt kommer även finnas till förfogande för tältning om man så skulle önska då vi bor bara en kilometer från eventet.
Det finns en ICA butik i närheten samt en pizzeria inom ca 15 minuter/en kvarts avstånd :o ) Vår granne driver dessutom ett litet Bed & Breakfast som möjligen är ledigt under helgen.
Vi hoppas få träffa både gamla vänner och nya och välkomnar er alla till Mousekakats jaktmarker.
