These wee ones endure endless hours strapped to
our back as we slog uphill or bash through bush, wait patiently at
the bottom of steep slopes or trees while we enjoy the climb,
regularly find the cache location while we still determinedly look
for it in another location and sit delighted with the cache loot
when it's opened. This is a puzzle cache especially for them to
do all the lead work on for a change - so old people take a back
seat!
Okay kids, this cache is not at the coordinates listed but is
within 4km of them. The cache is at the following
coordinates:
S 45 AB.CDE E 170 FG.HIJ
To find the numbers for A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H,
I & J you will need to identify the trains in the following
pictures and, most importantly, their number. The number of the
engine is the answer. If you don't know what the number is you can
'google' it (or tell a grown up who the train is and they can do it
for you).
A
What is my name and what is my engine number?
B
What is my name and what is my engine number?
C
What is my name and what is my engine number?
D

E

F

G

Note: you will need to subtract 1 to get the correct answer for the
coordinates
H

I
What is my name and what is my engine number?
J

Given that this cache is mainly for the kids
there are awards for FTF, Under 5 Years FTF, 5 - 10 Years FTF and,
because some of us never grow up, 60+ Years FTF.
The cache is a 2L painted systema container. It's location is very
near a place which has fairly regular events that delight the train
spotter in us - make sure you check it out. Accuracy was 4 metres
at time of placing and the cache should not be visible from any
distance. Please make sure it is well concealed when you place it
back to avoid muggling!
