Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates but this is a good place to start in your quest for the secret container. I call this spot "Area 4"
The hike is very easy and except for a couple of hundred metres I would class it as wheelchair friendly.

You will need a torch to complete the task.
This cache should be good fun for the Geo Juniors.

This is a cache that you will need to attempt at night. The darker the better. Most week nights the flood lights are on at the outdoor hockey oval and make it a little difficult to see the markers.
From the starting point at the given coordinates you need to look for a Firetack marker. These are small pyramid shaped tacks with reflective qualities or a white reflective tack. When you reach the first one you should be able to see the next one, if not just keep going in the general direction and you should come across the following one. With a dull torch you may miss a couple. When you reach 2 white markers(reflective tacks) you have to search for a number. There are 3 numbers to find. Once you have all 3 numbers go to the counter at the Leisure Centre and ask for the Geocaching Tin. It has a 3 number combination lock.

The cache is set with the cooperation of the staff and management of the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre and I would like to thank them for their assistanc.
Please also take care when walking along North Road with your torches that you do not impede the oncoming traffic.

Good luck and I hope you have fun.

Since the reactivation not all the markers are pyramid fire tacks.
