The cache site is close to the northern end of the Wellington
waterfront walkway. This long walkway arches southwards to Queens
Wharf, Frank Kitts Park, Te Papa Museum and eventually to Oriental
Parade and beyond. Separating city from the sea, the waterfront is
a vibrant and attractive location offering an ever-changing
atmosphere with seasonal attractions.
On a fine day, many people visit the area. The waterfront can
get busy and more so, with major seasonal festivities such as the
Dragon Boat festival or fireworks on Guy Fawkes Day.
Looking out to sea, you'll find ferries, harbour cruise boats
and the occasional luxury liner or cruise ship. If you are a
visitor to Wellington, welcome to our wonderful city. If you've

The cache is not over the edge of the walkway or any hard to
reach to area, so there is no need to look there. Parents, please
watch your children around water.
