Geocache Description:

Located near/below the summit of a working fire tower.

My family loves to take short hikes in the surrounding area. We have hiked this specific spot numerous times, from numerous trails. We have enjoyed the many blue berries along the way, the various vista points and even cooled off on the backside of this area in the somewhat hidden pond.

Today, lucky Friday the 13th we have hidden a lock n lock container near the summit of such trails. The coordinates listed below will bring you to the summit of these blueberry lined trails. In order to find the cache you will need to visit a website www.lookouts.us. At this web site you will find a listing for many types of look outs much like the one you will find at the summit of these trails. You will need to find the specific web site page that lists this specifc look out. You may also enjoy finding other look outs to explore for the future.

Once you have located this page you will need to find the year this detection site was first used and the year the wood cab was constructed.

Once you find these two years you will need to subtract one hundred and five from the last three digits (1XXX, take XXX and subtract 105) of the detection site year to complete the north coordinates (N43 19 XXX) and add thirty one to the last three digits of the contruction year to complete the western coordinates (W071 06 XXX).

Enjoy the blueberries along the way, enjoy the look out, take a swim on the backside and enjoy the hide.
